::: FULL REVIEW Now POSTED :::

OMG. OMG!!! So, I read this book correct afterwards The Siren and and holyyy hell, it was fucking BRILLIANT!!! Gah. Wow. Ok, I did love the outset volume but now I seriously Get why so many of you absolutely L.O.V.Eastward. this series. I get it. The feels. THE FEELS!!! Holy intensity!!!! I accept tears in my optics, my middle is racing and full to bursting. Ahhhh!! Yes, a few scenes definitely had me going WhatTheFuckDidIJustRead?! but that'due south all part of the thrill. This may non be a romance serial, but my gosh is there ever LOVE on such a strong level. And LAYERS. Layers upon layers to this intricate story. I'1000 in pure awe. This is 5 STARS!!!

Notation: this is not a standalone, you must read The Siren (review: http://flake.ly/1I3176u) first. I'one thousand going to keep this review pretty much spoiler-gratis then anyone tin can read it but naturally it'll make more sense after reading The Siren.

The commencement folio of this book alone hooked me right into the story! Ha!! This book is just sobold and I honey it!! I have so many quotes highlighted (they're all at the lesser of the review though).

I'd spent nigh of the kickoff book eyeing Søren warily, but I did really start to warm upward to him in the start of this volume specially. Sadist or no, there was no doubt that he genuinely loved Nora. But juuuuuuust when I started to think that possibly I could join #TeamSøren, he did something to her that, in his defence, she totally was okay with, but made my insides shrivel upwards into a little ball while my poor listen was just similarWTFJustHappened?! Did I really read that?! So... that put me dorsum on the fence with him. Ish. The matter is that I practise really similar him. He'due south an infinitely complex grapheme that I truly believe is one of the expert guys... but, I'1000 still rooting for Wesley (and I accept from the showtime). Gah, I'mso rooting for Wesley even though a part of me fears information technology could never work out between him and Nora. Still, I harbor a secret hope!

In that location's a very fine line in my opinion between being a monster and being a sadist. Søren is a sadist -- he becomes sexually aroused by causing hurting to others. Soren doesn't ever take what isn't willingly given to him, and he's extraordinarily careful to stay within the boundaries of his submissive's wishes. That is what separates him... only that damn line is just so fine that the whole thing relies purely on trust and even though I like him, it does make me a uncomfortable that he has to cause pain to go angry.

The story in this book begins with Søren's position at the church coming under scrutiny as he's considered for a promotion and and so, to avoid whatsoever questioning, he sends Nora away to the countryside to spend fourth dimension at Griffin'due south mansion. And he also sends Michael with her (a immature, troubled sub who we met in The Siren and who was such an amazing character!) to train him over the summertime months.

I detect the whole lack of jealousy between Søren and Nora fascinating. He'll literally tell her to get  sleep with someone else, but it won't bother him at all because he knows total well that she belongs tohimand his heart belongs to her. Information technology's this incredibly strong delivery mixed with equally strong disengagement.

Haha I definitely went through a lot of ups and downs and conflicting emotions and questioning the characters and myself and how I felt about diverse things just ultimately I only LOVED the story!

Griffin was totally awesome! I liked him from the first book fifty-fifty though we'd simply seen him briefly but he actually shone here! I totally fell for his playful, breezy nature. He was the charming, kinky bad boy of the Underground and the whole storyline with Michael totally made meswoooooon!!What intensity and beauty there was in that location!! And that scene at the stop where Griffin had that big confrontation and all those things toyou know who.... OMG!! Badass!!! I highlighted endlessly! It was GOLD.

This book had a ton of reveals about Nora and Søren'southward pasts. Holy crap is Søren history ever messed up. Like... shockingly, disturbingly, heart-breakingly then.  But learning it has fabricated me empathize him more. Oh and we got to run across more of Kingsley (YAY!) and the little bits that we've seen have me desperate to know more than about him. Like, the wrist thing? Ahhh, I can't wait for more of his grapheme!

And you lot know I've been rooting for  Wes from the beginning but later on that scene at 75%, I just.... OMG. Oh. Em. Gee. Gah. I know, I know, I know that Søren loves Nora too but themode Wesley loves her just tugs each and every one of my heart strings!!!!! I'yard sad #TeamSoren, I get that you all love him (and I like him too, I really do) but I'yard #TeamWesley all the style!!! Especially subsequently that scene. THAT SCENE!!!!! I hateful really.... First -- PURE FUCKING Astonishing WRITING!!! 2nd -- holy intensity!!! Tertiary -- I seriously can't handle those feels. I can't. Dammit. Then MANY FEELS!!!!! And just... I LOVE WESLEY!!!!!! *sob*

And I just want to point out that Wes is thesimply guy that Nora has really shown real jealousy for. No one else in their world (including her) seems to even accept the jealousy gene (heh) but even the mere proffer of Wes existence with someone else  made her heart injure. There's something there, people!!

That being said, I'm kind of rooting foranybody honestly. I don't call back there's a single character I've met yet that I didn't like so ... I'one thousand rooting for everyone to detect their happy ending :)

I desire to note that I'm mostly very wary of religion in books because so often it feels a petty "preachy", but I really want to applaud this writer for the style she has incorporated this huge religious aspect into this series in a way that only ever seems similar she'south showing us what the characters' beliefs are and that'south it. I think she'south handled it very tastefully and it'southward something I've been really impressed with overall.

This is such a richly layered story. Yes, it's extremely erotic but the beauty of it is that each sex scene merely serves to support the story or drive information technology forrard. And non merely are these extremely graphic and sensual scenes extremely well written, but they always serve a purpose. In my stance, this is erotica done correct.

And I stand by what I said earlier that this is not a romance serial justoh my holy heavens is at that place e'er some of the deepest, strongest, most intense Beloved I've ever read. It'southward just gorgeous!

In so many ways this series is literally the opposite of what I'd commonly read or even recommend on my weblog but this seems to be the exception to every 1 of my rules because I am absolutely LOVING this story. If you take whatever worries property you back from starting information technology, I'd honestly suggest not overthinking it. Just dive right in and permit the story show yous what information technology is. It might not be for you, but if you remain very open up minded and accepting, yous might fall in honey with it too! I'd say information technology'due south definitely worth a shot!

I, for i, am beyond addicted to this series and will exist starting the next volume right away!

Rating: 5 STARS!! Contemporary erotica.

★★★★★ v++++ MANY WATERS STARS!! ★★★★★

"This is going to be a long summer, isn't information technology?"
"Eight and a half inches long if yous'll recall."

I commonly don't do casting in my graphics simply when it comes to the Original Sinners, one does not simply skip out on them. So VOILA To a higher place MY CASTING ♥ Likewise, thanks Allison for the abiding spamming of hot delish men pictures that allowed my imagination to explode in ecstasy as I read!

Now permit's have a moment and appreciate how f*cking crawly Griffin is. Seriously, Tiffany Reisz continues to add more and more men to my list of people who I'd gladly have my way with six means to Sunday. The moment his glorious entry was all "wearing zippo but a kilt and Doc Marten boots", I knew I'd be a consummate goner with this homo. And good lord, his humor is to dieeeee forrrrr!!

"Can I phone call yous Mick? Michael'southward too formal. I'm not formal. Y'all're lucky I've even got pants on today."

"Is your butler's name really Alfred?"
"No, it'south Jamison, I recall. Can't recall. I changed information technology to Alfred years ago. My offset crush on a dude was batman."

And holy baby jeebus that is Søren. My love for that Godlike homo cannot become whatever deeper than I last met him. Is he a sadist that scares me? Yes. Does that completely turn me on? YES. Everytime Søren utters anything, I give my 300% attention to that human, his graphic symbol truly does make heads turn and leaves you belongings your breath. He exudes a persona that intimidates y'all but yet leaves you utterly captivated by him. And you can but feel the depth of his love for Nora everytime he speaks nigh her, DAMN You NORA YOU LUCKY BEECH.
"My confession begins," Father S said, "as the confessions of many men begin– with iii words."
"Father, forgive me?" Michael hazarded a guess.
"I met Eleanor."

Again, I don't intend to reveal whatever spoilery plots on this book and series in my review just I tin definitely say that each volume seriously gets meliorate than the terminal. A Complete Folio-TURNER. TR's writing screams perfection on every level!! Fifty-fifty with multiple perspectives going on in this book, what a seamless flow from i to another. Plus the chain effect of multiple events and how it all connects, it leaves me mindblown. I AM IN COMPLETE AWE WITH THIS LADY'Due south WRITING SKILLS.

What's even more perfect is we all get some backstory on most of them; Søren, Kingsley, Nora, Wes. Everyone gets an equal shine of the spotlight without focusing heavily on only one, it was brilliantly balanced out throughout the book. I dearest how we got to see things progressed for Michael and oh my, those MM/MMF scenes ;D I'd gladly have an encore of these someday! MORE Delight.

"Permit's get on with it. Choice a position. Trust me, no matter how acrobatic, we tin practise it."
"No wall sex though, please," Griffin requested … "Nora's a lot heavier than she looks."

Seriously ladies, GRIFFIN IS ALL KINDS OF Awesome.

But nigh of all...that ending there. OH MY GOD. THAT. Catastrophe. Off to the next 1 NOW!!!

Total REVIEW NOW POSTED.

My review contains spoilers for The Siren so, if you haven't read that, I suggest y'all read no further.

So, a highly anticipated sequel to The Siren and I'chiliad happy to say that information technology doesn't disappoint and actually does even surpass its predecessor. All our favourite characters are back, embracing their kink, living unashamedly in their sexy underworld. I remember this is more playful than The Siren, not every bit angsty, the characters are all, generally, having fun. It's a nail and it merely blew me abroad.

We join Nora and Søren almost a twelvemonth after the events of The Siren – she has returned to her sadist primary. He owns her; body and soul, and they are deeply in love, securely into South&M and blissfully happy. Her only sadness is the loss of Wesley.

Søren is being considered for a promotion to bishop, a position he doesn't want because he knows it will probably end his relationship with Nora, and a reporter is sniffing effectually him looking for scandal so he decides to send Nora away for the summer and tells her to take Michael, the eponymous Angel, upstate to stay with Griffin Fiske.

Griffin – super rich trustfund baby, switch and playboy extraordinaire, ex-drug addict, rambunctious puppy of the kink scene and lovable rogue. He has a butler he calls Alfred who quite clearly hates his guts and has the best lines in the volume and is looking forward to a summertime of Nora submitting to him. Søren will happily share her but no i is allowed to beat her or hurt her in any way – that sadistic pleasure is reserved but for him.

Michael is sent to stay with them and Søren instructs Nora to train him equally a submissive. Michae just nigh broke my heart. Merely 17, he has already survived ane suicide attempt when his parents realised what his sexual tendencies are – he'south deeply submissive and Søren, having saved his life, is determined that Michael will embrace his kink and tin can think of no one better than Nora, a world famous dominatrix, to railroad train him. He thinks himself in love with Nora later the events of The Siren – he's such an innocent, so ready to be taken reward of. He will need someone equally powerful as Nora to take control and care of him and guide him to more self-sensation and acceptance. This is truly a coming of age story for Michael and I very much enjoyed his journey and his growth.

So what follows for Nora is a summer of darkly delicious and deviant sex activity Chez Griff while Søren deals with his state of affairs back at the church building.

Søren was such a revelation for me in this book. After The Siren, I was fairly wary of him but after reading The Angel, I only adore him. He is a sadist of the highest guild, only causing someone concrete pain can arouse him and he and Nora indulge in some farthermost edgeplay before she goes away that is most definitely not for the faint-hearted. We learn a whole lot more than about his past, his family, his motivations – I defy yous not to dearest him and his actions by the cease of the book. He's enigmatic, Machiavellian, a bone deep sadist and too pretty damn proficient at the day job, as it turns out. He's a paradox – a sadist who can merely reach sexual arousal by inflicting pain and yet a pacifist, securely concerned with the welfare of those closest to his eye and his flock.

Another of my favourites is dorsum too – that wicked Frenchman Kingsley "have y'all ever had sexual activity in the dorsum of a Rolls Royce" Border, flashing those gorgeous night eyes, using his considerable wealth and influence and reducing women to submissive puddles when the words 'Ma Cherie' curl off his natural language. He has an important role to play here besides. God, I am and then in lust with him!

Wesley makes merely small appearances but it turns out that he'due south been rather economical with the truth in the by and we acquire more about him and he volition apparently have a much bigger role to play in The Prince. He's still in love with Nora, no one else will do even though he does effort, and Nora notwithstanding loves him. He is her one regret and she misses him securely.

This may not be classic romance but true and honest beloved is definitely to exist found here in more places than ane. These people are overtly sexual, unashamedly embracing their darker sides and Nora is, once again, a formidable, dangerous, beautiful cardinal character. There are not many heroines written every bit strongly as her in erotic fiction. Once again, I institute myself lost in Tiffany Reisz'due south beautiful prose – she has a style that seems to send you lot from reality, straight into her earth and I just lost myself.

And then, this is just a few more than chapters in the lives of our kinksters – we larn a lot more nigh the fundamental characters and are able to answer questions left unanswered past The Siren and truly get to sympathize their motivations improve. Nosotros know them all so much improve by the end and the ending is a shocker – how could you practice information technology to us Queen Tiff?? It left me salivating for The Prince which I doubtable will show a return to the darker side.

Another 5 star piece of erotica

Adult review for erotic content.

I think I'd rather be doing laundry than writing this review right now. I wish I were kidding. It's hard to write reviews for books when you want to emphasize what y'all did similar while not completely avoiding what you didn't like.

"You told me about him. Expert men don't striking women."
"Good men only hit the women who want to be hit."

Can we somehow put this on an advertisement poster for BDSM? Peradventure if we did, the subject field wouldn't freak people out so much.

And then...volume 2 was a little less depressing and a petty more kinky. I probably adopt information technology that way if you desire to know the truth. Kink I tin handle. Somber moments in the middle of my erotica, not and then much. Just the sight of a Megan Hart volume can requite me hives because I know I'thou going to spend less fourth dimension turned on and more than time bummed out. Thankfully, I wasn't on the depression train for this book. Just a warning though if yous haven't read my review for book 1 - if there is any possibility that you might be bothered by religion and sex crossing paths (not in a blatantly offensive manner but more in the aspect of two worlds colliding), you lot might be meliorate off steering clear.

*takes a second to stretch*

Uh...yep. Even so not sure I want to write this review. I already know that everyone's going to be all, "ahhhmaaazing" and v star The Angel because the book is an interesting and circuitous read. The writing is still exceptionally polished and the characters are all multi-faceted. I can find absolutely no fault in this area.

I'thousand sure my friends are going to give me the glare-down because I didn't charge per unit the book 5 stars.

However, I have a horrible confession to brand....

Yep. I said it. Which kind of sucks hard, because that she is kind of a big character. If you want to know why I'll just leave it at "too personal." Sometimes, beingness able to relate to a character is not a good thing.

Simply I still love Wesley. And at present I dearest Michael and Griffin (you volition have to pry the image of Griffin in a kilt and docs out of my brain with a crowbar because that pretty motion-picture show ain't going anywhere). And I don't completely hate Soren (he appeared in a dream riding a unicorn - another great mental pic there). So it's all good.

The kink itself didn't push whatsoever boundaries of mine only I could meet where there might be some comfort zone issues for someone who is new to the genre. If anything, I found myself assessing the characters and their interactions with each other more than I did their sexual preferences. When erotica is given more plot than play, I'm more likely to treat it like I would whatsoever other mainstream book, which means less allowances for fantasy sake. If characters deed in such a way that I'd not like them in a existent world setting, I'm more likely to take discover.

Overall feelings?
I like that there are more characters coming into the picture for me to bond with. At least this way, I can focus on the stories I am more interested in and button dorsum small annoyances. The anticipation for book 3 will be great considering it means even more Wesley time! Sure, I'll be continuing on with the series. Lastly, information technology was nice to run into some offbeat and unexpected humor pop up in a few places.

"Noah's ark plant nursery decor. I'thousand not religious like you and the mistress, but if I'm not mistaken Noah'south ark was about the devastation of the entire earth, correct?"
"Right," Michael agreed.
"Might too decorate with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse."
Shrugging, Michael looked at the walls now painted an elegant light blueish.
"Kids like ponies."

This volume was provided from the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

GAAAHHHH!! ! I love this human.

description

Lawd Jesus! This was really proficient. Tiffany is an exceptional story teller. I was hooked from the very first page and stayed up all night to finish this. There were twists and turns that i never saw coming. Kept me guessing and saying but one more page.... just one more folio.

Nosotros get to know the characters more and deeper. Soren! Gaaaahh! This man is layers upon layers, a hot sadist with a heart of aureate. Aye the two do mix and come up in a neatly wrapped package with a bow in form of Soren.

"Rolls Royces don't buy themselves, do they, Suzanne?" No they don't Sir! GAAAAAHHH!

"Yeah," Nora said, smiling dorsum at Michael. "Number two—Michael is absolutely, completely, ridiculously beautiful."

description

I accept never been soooo aroused. The all-time function of this series is that, it does not depend on sex to make information technology stand up out. The characters and their stories make the book and then much more. The sex activity scenes are hot, similar really hot. The religion theme is and so well done and blends in with the rest without being too preachy or overwhelming. The taboo office! OMG! I love, dearest the boundaries this author pushes.

GAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!

Thank yous again Jan for the hand holding.

RATING: v+ "Many Waters..." Hearts!! :) <3

"Many waters cannot quench love, Nor will rivers overflow information technology." Vocal of Solomon 8:vii

The Angel is merely erotic romance at its finest. At that place is something sinfully beautiful about this masterful world Ms. Reisz has created, the characters that inhabit it, and their compelling stories. This book invoked raw emotions in me I can't explain even if I tried.
"Dearest is the open up wound that you lot hope never heals."

Nora, Søren and Kingsley are ever present in this book, merely I want to talk about two characters that truly fabricated me sympathize—even a pinch of—this globe and lifestyle: Griffin and Michael. Griffin is hilarious, piece of cake-going and protective to the cadre. Michael is a young man, broken by all the cruelties life has given, yet still not weak every bit he tries to understand and accept command (relative to his want to submit ;) of his life and his desires. His first step into the unknown and his utter determination to grasp the very thing that which makes him whole is awe-inspiring and relatable. And the two of them together are the epitome of a soul-deep friendship, new beginnings, and an everlasting, irrevocable dear. I LOVED both of them and so much, and LOVED their dear for i another!
"I want to own y'all,"...
"You already exercise."

The ending is surprising to say the to the lowest degree, and considering of information technology, I concede; I am first to actually like and empathize Søren.
"Winter," she finally said, "tin exist and so beautiful and so fell. Barbarous and cold. And if y'all live in the presence of winter you never have summertime." Nora stepped close to him and put her nose at his cheek. "You smell similar summer. Like clean laundry hanging out in the dominicus. That'southward an astonishing odour too."

Definitely my fave, as of yet, of the serial!

** 4-4,5 "Jeg elsker dig, du er mit hjerte" STARS **

"No safe word can protect the heart."

In one case once more, I am lost in Tiffany Reisz'south dangerously night and confusingly erotic world. I've been having dreams most this book since I finished information technology 2 days ago and detect myself thinking nigh the characters in the middle of the twenty-four hours, out of nowhere. This woman has become one of my favorite authors E'er and so quickly, and has practically ruined me for all the other erotica books out there with her master writing skills.

From the moment you lot read the first sentence on the first page, yous get sucked into the story and all you can do is try to connect the dots…the tiny details here and in that location, seemingly unimportant but rather crucial for the backbone of the story. Some of the clues I could catch, some of them I could observe only when the mystery was already uncovered, but I was left in awe every single time .

Let's start with the highlight of the book: Griffin Fiske's butler, Alfred. Yeah, he was my favorite thing about this book! No, I'm serious you guys, don't express mirth!!

"Alfred, are you looking up my skirt?"

"Chief Griffin, I would marry my own mother for the excuse to stab my optics out with her brooches rather than see anything under your kilt."

Meet? He'south freakin' hilarious! The love between him and his "master" is palpable…LOL.

Speaking of Griffin FiskeHOW GODDAMN PERFECT IS THAT GUY, Correct?! If I wasn't already undeniably in honey with Father Søren, I'd shamelessly fall in honey with this man in a heartbeat! His sense of humour, his authority, his bravery and honesty…it'south all then mesmerizing. Oh and let'due south not forget that he likes to strut around the firm in his boxers!

Most importantly though, I loved the mode he silently and slowly savage in love with a sure cleaved Affections… I loved how fiercely he could love someone and how willing he was to fight for that person. When Nora asks him, "That bad, huh?" and he replies, looking adoringly at the person he loves, "Yeah…that bad." , my centre filled with something warm and heavy for him! ♥

Permit'due south move on to Kingsley Edge… THE ANSWER TO MY PRAYERS! Thank God for his presence in this story! There's a reason for my sudden fascination with this sexy Frenchman and it's non simply considering he asks questions similar "Have you always had sex activity in the back of a Rolls Royce?" to anybody who get inside his…well, Rolls Royce, and considering everytime he says "ma chérie" my panties cook and disappear. No, information technology has some other, much deeper reason behind it.

"I've wondered a time or 2 if I dear le prêtre more than you lot practice, chérie. Now I know I practice."

And Father Marcus Lennox Stearns... My Søren. Subsequently this book, I know I've fabricated the right choice to encounter the light inside him, ignoring the darker and scarier exterior. He has reasons. He has scars, and so deep. Take off your glasses of sentence and expect at him with naked optics. You lot'll come across his inner beauty, I know y'all volition...

Wesley Railey was absent for most of the book, but he had a VERY important part in the story. I just want to say, I admire his naivety and his big heart, but I am admittedly disappointed with him. The savage and hurtful words he used while talking to Søren… And then judgemental and prejudiced. And rather ironic likewise, wouldn't you agree? He insists on e'er seeing the good and pure in Nora, merely refuses to try to empathize Søren. He is 20 years onetime now, but he was acting like a 12-yr-erstwhile who stumped his feet because he lost his favorite toy.

And lastly…Nora Sutherlin. The woman that I absolutely loathed while reading The Siren, not because of her wicked ways, but considering of her selfishness. The woman that has loved a man that needs to injure her, nearly xx years. The adult female that kept dreaming of a male child with big brown eyes with flecks of gilded in them in every chapter of this volume. The adult female that repeated 105 times that she is even so in love with her Priest and that she volition ever come back to him. The adult female that climaxed with another human, just with the proper name of that boy who played Battleship with her, on her lips.

You lot see, I don't believe someone tin be in love with two different people at the same time. Particularly afterward my boyfriend of 2,5 years told me "he carried a heart with ii women'due south names engraved on it" subsequently getting caught cheating on me. I didn't believe that male child could love me and someone else both and then and I nevertheless don't.

And so yep… I don't empathise Nora Sutherlin. But…

…so I've decided to permit become of my sharp hatred and fury towards her. In my listen, she is a adult female that has fallen out of dear with a human being that, at some point, became just too much to handle, and she plant love once more in the artillery of an innocent. I believe she is set to requite herself "heart, torso and soul" to the male child that gave her the pajama pants with little penguins on information technology, just merely isn't set up to let become of her xviii years of submission and sacrifice.

"Wintertime can be so cute and so fell. Savage and cold. And if you alive in the presence of winter you never have summer. You aroma similar summer. Like make clean laundry hanging out in the sun. That's an amazing odour besides."

Nora has been living in winter for years. She needs to endeavor summer now. And as much equally it breaks my center, I become it. I even wish she never gets bored of summer. I wish she never craves winter once more.

Winter is ameliorate off without her anyway.

"Eleanor, if you take whatsoever mercy in that dark heart of yours, when you leave right at present, y'all volition walk and not run."

(...)And Nora didn't walk and she didn't clamber and she didn't fly.

She ran.

6 hilariously kinky STARS!

"Hey, bad daughter," came the deep, sexy voice of The Griffin himself. "Can't believe the Pope allow you out of the Vatican."

**Buddy-Re-Read December 2014 with my girls Jasmine, Supreet and Eda...well sort of...for some reason we got a trivial lost and read information technology at different paces. Uppps. Anyway, I tweaked my original review a little, added some graphics and thoughts. Enjoy. ;D

"Come up on in. Let'due south get this orgy started."

And nosotros have the winner for this calendar month'due south stay upwardly all nighttime and read until your optics cantankerous contest. I can't put this series down and I damn well don't desire to.
In my opinion you have to be fairly open minded to read these books, even by erotica and night read standards. (**fiddling sidenote after the re-read...I think I read a few more night reads since I starting time wrote this...information technology's non that shocking in hindsight. LOL) Only in one case you commit to the characters and the world they live in at that place is no going back. I'm certain I will never pick up a BDSM book and read it without comparing it with a Tiffany Reisz book. (**now that on the other manus is spot on)

Equally it turns out there is a difference between SSC and RACK. ;)

Besides existence very naughty, well written and addictive, The Angel was also very educational and insightful. A lot of the unanswered questions from The Siren and some huge gaps in the timeline go filled in and man is that some story telling. Tiffany Reisz sure knows what she's doing.

"Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. It has been…"

I of my start concerns was what happened with Zach and practice we see him over again. I have to confess my priorities can be a flake controversial, just that's only how I live my life. So, to appease all minds...nosotros go some -very little simply still- Zach. That alone in my book deserves six Stars. As I said, warped priorities.

"No safe give-and-take tin protect the centre."

To the story. The Angel picks upwards where The Siren ends...well, just one minor matter, a year has passed. Nora is finally dorsum with the sadistic blond hunk of a man. No complains there.

Wes is somewhere else. Major plus! I like Wes well plenty but I don't like him enough to intendance what happens to him either mode.

Clue in a possible promotion for our favourite priest, a nosy reporter who by the way fabricated me nervous similar no ane else in this volume and a petty Affections in search for love and acceptance. And of course Griffin, Nora and Michael penned upward in a mansion over the summer. Recipe for a masterpiece.

And I'thousand doing happy dances around the house...

"I've hurt people. I've hurt them badly. I've left permanent
scars on some clients. Some outer scars. Some inner. Simply all
that pain I've inflicted…it was all consensual. I've never hurt anyone without their permission. All I'yard saying, Ms. Kanter, is…" Sutherlin leaned forward and pressed the lightest, softest, most terrifying kiss onto Suzanne's lips before pulling back an inch and whispering, "There's a first time for everything."

Nora continues to be the strongest and most fearless book heroine I've seen in a long time. The fashion she plays with all of the chess pieces (aka the men in her life) and as seen above some of the women, is downright enviable.

King is still such an enigma hither. A few glimpses here and there, only nil physical. You just get the feeling that he will be just as astonishing a graphic symbol every bit Søren is.

Speaking of our favourite priest. We go a far meliorate understanding almost him in this 2nd volume. Quite a few questions about his upbringing and by are addressed. Some of it is quite shocking and heartbreaking, but one thing is for sure, he truly deserves his larger than life reputation. ;D

Michael and Griffin. *sighs*

"I'm and then in dearest with him I tin't fifty-fifty call up direct. Which is fine since obviously I'thousand non straight. And neither is he."

What a wonderful picayune story and all kinds of yummy also. Oh, Ms. Reisz!
Michael is such a precious little thing and give thanks god jailbait is finally legal...for the squeemish among yous. ;P

Griffin is the almost beautiful grapheme. He is wild and funny and just every bit unappoligetic equally dear Nora.

Nil else needs to be said. Well...ok, maybe this needs to be mentioned:

"In that location'southward something wrong with your back" …
"There is?"
Griffin grinned at him. "My welts aren't on information technology."

And and then there is the Butler of course. Never forget the Butler...he is hilarious.

Give thanks you for your time. On to the adjacent ane.

**and the re-read continues ;D

"Beloved is an open up wound that you hope never heals."

Showtime read: ix Nov 2016 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Re-read: 14 Nov 2019 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Re-reading The Angel felt like Heaven! Seriously, this serial is my all-fourth dimension favorite, and reading information technology for the second time, I'chiliad loving information technology even more than. Should I now say it'southward my double favorite? *grinning* Anyway, my review might be slightly spoilerish (I get carried away when I am over-excited) and then read at your own take chances. And of class, be prepared for fangirling and a lot of swooning.

description

Father S had met his eyes and Michael saw the hint of a smile in them, a hush-hush grinning and the passing shadow of a dark-green-eyed girl who could make whatsoever man lose his religion.

We get Michael's POV in this book *happy dance* I can't tell you how much I adore this Affections. The most precious character ever. And kinky equally hell. Don't let his innocence fool you. He'due south a inferior kinkster indeed. I love the like shooting fish in a barrel banter between him and Nora and how he'southward non afraid to be himself around her. And how Søren is more a begetter to him than Michael's real father ever was.
A good morn then far—she'd been fucked by her favorite homo, hugged by her favorite male child and silently adored past her favorite angel.

Nora and Søren are happily dorsum together and all is well in Paradies... Well, except not everything. There'southward e'er a snake, correct? Troubles are brewing, so Søren sends Nora and Michael to Griffin. And OMG Griff is and then gorgeous. I adore him likewise!
And coming down the main spiral staircase taking two steps at a time and wearing nix simply a black kilt and Doc Marten boots was the lunatic laird of the manor himself.

Aye, that's Griffin. One-quarter Scottish and all crazy. And also the most spoiled trust fund baby always. But I dearest how he genuinely cares most people around him. He's all humor and party on the outside but he can exist and then sweet and caring too. And his 69 jokes are pure gilt. I'm and then in love or in lust or whatever.
"Number two—Michael is absolutely, completely, ridiculously beautiful."
"Nora…" Griffin said in a distressed vocalism. "I call up I'm in love."
"You're in rut, Griff. Big deviation. Oh, and number iii…Søren says you tin can't fuck him."

Tin can I get all swoony again? Griffin and Michael together! They are the near adorable, precious couple. I but love them then much. They are perfect for each other. How Griff is making Michael feel more confident about himself and how Griffin became a ameliorate person for Michael. And wings tattoos *le sigh*
"Gorgeous, Mick. They're gorgeous." Griffin squeezed Michael's fingers. "Just like y'all."

***********************************
"I want to own you," Griffin whispered into Michael's ear.
Michael smiled, and for the start time in his life knew exactly what to say and how to say it. "Yous already do."

Nora is still pinning later Wes. *curl eyes* I never truly understood their relationship. They are so ill-suited for each other and they are the only ones who doesn't see that. I have a feeling Nora never really thought through what she would have to give up to exist with Wes.

In the meantime, Søren is dealing with a noisy reporter who is digging into his past and trying to expose his secrets. I have a feeling he had a fourth dimension of his life playing cat and mouse with that annoying woman. She actually had no idea what has she gotten herself into.

"It was Christ's manner to welcome sinners and tax collectors and other nefarious characters into His company and His Kingdom. On His especially compassionate and generous days, he would even speak to reporters."

And I finally got more Kingsley in this volume! Still not enough but at to the lowest degree I know what is waiting for me in the following books.
Nora grinned. Who was Kingsley? Kingsley Edge, the King of Kink in New York Urban center. Half-French, all debauchee.

***********************************
He looked like a man who'd seen then much blood he had the Grim Reaper on speed dial.

And nosotros heard the about famous question of the series for the get-go fourth dimension.
"Have y'all ever had sex in the back of a Rolls Royce?"

Yes, information technology's this series' fault for my obsession with Rolls Royces.
"God, they were sexy as hell, weren't they?"
"Seriously," Michael agreed as he looked over Nora'south shoulder at the blackness-and-white photo. In the picture, he saw an eighteen-year-old Father S sitting casually in an armchair in a dark adapt, tidy and pin neat. At his feet sabbatum some other boy, only a yr younger, with longer dark hair and his Catholic schoolhouse uniform artfully rumpled with the jacket abandoned, the tie loose and the neckband open up.

I'm so set up for teenage Søren and Kingsley in the next book.
